Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In the second year of our K-5 STEM Magnet School program and in partnership with Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California we have learned many invaluable lessons about the shift in our pedagogical styles, curriculum selection and delivery, the choice of effective and engaging project-based learning activities, and beneficial assessment strategies, that we would like to share. We believe that we are on the right track for integrating the specifics of our self-created program with both the Common Core State Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards. We will also share insight into various aspects of our program from the following: students, parents, a local foundation that supports our technology, and our Advisory Committee comprised of parents, community members, teachers, governing board members, and technology endeavors such as Walmart and Facebook.
